OUR TEAM
RPS Development Company was founded in April 2000 by Alan Roodhouse. After nearly 25 years' experience working with two major development firms in San Francisco, Alan brought his expertise to the Pacific Northwest and quickly established one of the most trusted names in the industry.
As a full-service commercial developer, RPS handles every aspect of development and redevelopment projects, including property management through its subsidiary, RPS Realty LLC.
ALAN ROODHOUSE
President
After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1966, Alan served as a Naval Aviator for five years during the Vietnam era, flying an A-7 Corsair II off of aircraft carriers. Following his time in the Navy, Alan graduated from Stanford School of Law in 1974 and worked for three years as a corporate attorney in both California and Hawaii before beginning his real estate career with a development firm in San Francisco, California. He worked with two Bay Area firms before founding RPS in Oregon in 2000. Alan has also utilized his expertise to provide expert witness services a number of times.
Alan is an inactive member of the California and Hawaii Bar Associations.

BEN ROODHOUSE
Vice President
Ben graduated from Hillsdale College in 2003. After spending two years in Catholic service work on the East coast, he attended Ave Maria Law School and graduated in 2008, after which he joined RPS.
Ben is a licensed property manager in Oregon, a member of the Nevada Bar Association, and a graduate of the JTR School for Professional Development.
